The Matta’s

Mathew and Christina Matta have been a St. Martin’s family since 1999.  They have two children, Marguerite in fifth grade who plays field hockey and lacrosse and Jonathan in first grade.  Christina is an active member of the Parents’ Association and is the PA’s Fall Events Coordinator.  She can also be found substituting in Nursery through Kindergarten.

Why St. Martin’s-in-the-Field Day School?
The programs at St. Martin’s were just what we were looking for when our daughter started here 9 years ago and then again when our son started school.  From Nursery to Kindergarten and Pre-First and now Middle School, the curriculum has been top notch.  It was our good fortune that the school has expanded it’s offering through Middle School.

How would you describe St. Martin’s-in-the-Field’s school  community?
The school and its wonderful staff have provided a Christian bearing to our kids’ education which we  believe has had a positive result on their maturation.  

What do you like most about St. Martin’s and what have you found there?
The love and dedication the staff has for the kids and the school is readily apparent and the addition of the music and sports programs have really rounded out the school experience.  We are very happy at St. Martin’s and we are confident that they will be more prepared when the time comes to move on.
